A Northwest Arkansas Holiday Tradition since 2013
The Nutcracker presented by The Conservatory will return to the Arend Arts Center stage for the 14th annual production of the heartwarming classic set to the iconic Tchaikovsky score. Described as a “community treasure,” The Nutcracker is Northwest Arkansas’s most beloved holiday tradition featuring a huge community cast of nearly 200 dance students, adult character artists and the featured professional guest artists of NWA Ballet Theatre.
Join the Conservatory for an enchanted evening with Clara as she receives her most treasured Christmas gift, a Nutcracker doll. Follow along as the Nutcracker comes to life in a dream, and saves Clara from the grip of the evil Rat Queen and her mice minions with the help of an infantry of toy soldiers. Continue with Clara and the Nutcracker prince as they journey through the wintry Snow Forest and into the kingdom of the Sugar Plum Fairy and her magical Land of Sweets.
Ticket sales are anticipated to open Monday, October 19th! The Nutcracker will be presented Friday, December 18th at 7:00pm and Saturday, December 19th at 1:00pm & 7:00pm at the Arend Arts Center in Bentonville.
